Job Title: IB Maths Teacher - Independent International School

Location : Central London

Salary : £40k - £63k

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Assess student performance through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the mathematics curriculum, incorporating best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (a master’s degree is preferred).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching IB Mathematics.
• Excellent knowledge of the IB curriculum framework and assessment criteria.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success and well-being.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience working in an international school or with culturally diverse student populations is an advantage.
