About Rol As a Senior QA Automation, your role will be pivotal in the software development process, participating in Agile ceremonies, analyzing requirements, developing testing strategies, and writing manual and automated test scripts for new and existing functionalities. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring all development cycles, preparing test data, designing and executing test plans, and evaluating test results. You will serve as a mentor to other Test Engineers on the team in automation concepts and contribute to maintaining full test coverage. Responsibilities: Participate in Agile ceremonies, analyze requirements, and develop testing strategies. Write manual and automated test scripts. Monitor development cycles, prepare test data, and execute test plans. Evaluate test results and provide feedback. Mentor other Test Engineers in automation concepts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria. Develop and maintain clear and concise test automation regression scripts using Python/Pytest. Identify areas for cross-functional testing to improve overall quality. Adapt quickly to changes and maintain urgency in assigned tasks. Be flexible and support other team members as needed. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in agile software development testing. 2+ years of experience in database testing, focusing on relational databases such as Snowflake and MS SQL Server, ETL/ELT data solutions, and reporting and analytics tools. 3+ years of experience creating automated scripts using Pytest for data validation. Proficient in dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts. Strong ability to write complex SQL queries. Previous experience in testing web applications. English proficiency: B2 level, Conversational. Residency in LATAM. Nice-to-have skills : Knowledge of Advertising/Financial/Digital Marketing Domain. We offer: Contractor.
